  Wonderful place to stay. Full of character. Helpful staff. Great restaurant. Plenty of space in the shared areas and little private corners. Kids toy area. Shared bathrooms but all individual cubicles, old but fine.

  My family and I went to this Motel to stay the night because we were going on a road trip. We arrived around 8:00pm and went to our room. Whilst getting there I saw the 'staff' eating dinner...Our room contained a queen bed, 2 single beds and an area where you could do makeup or look in the mirror. There was an air hole in the roof to get oxygen. We later found out the owner wasn't even in the hotel and there was only 1 'staff' member as the others were all un-experienced backpackers that had come to earn money. In the middle of the night some drunk miners were banging on our door and cussing at people near us. This was at around midnight and it woke me up :(. Another thing I disliked was that after 8:30 they literally locked us in. They locked all the entrance/exit doors and the door to the bar/cafe. Some of the highlights I found in this experience was the peacefulness in the rooms and the beds were very comfortable. I also liked the rooftop because there was a telescope and you could look out to the stars and you could also walk on the roof. The things I disliked was the fact that the bathrooms were shared between everyone in the motel and you needed to get drinking water from the fresh water tubs. The breakfast was packaged cereal and bread to toast, I didn't expect much more because you're in the middle of nowhere. All up this is a great place to experience and really enjoy the peacefulness and quiet from the middle of nowhere.
